Single family residences are an excellent source of investment so long as the purchase price is at a wholesale level. Several years ago the inventory of foreclosed properties all but disappeared in areas where we invest. As a result we moved away from SFRs before the collapse. We are currently involved with a special niche of the hotel/motel business that meet our demands.
When a surplus of SFRs again appear on the horizon we will again include them in our growing portfolio.
